Marley McCullough, a junior at Newport Harbor High in California, won the girls varsity large school race at the 44th ASICS Clovis Invitational at Woodward Park in Fresno, Calif. McCullough covered the 5-kilometer layout in 18:21.5 to lead Newport Harbor to a 21st-place performance with 573 points. Newport Harbor competed without Keaton Robar, who took 22nd in the Bill Buettner girls championship race in 18:15.8.
